The Consensus Key.

A challenge is settled when both sides — and only both sides — confirm the outcome. Try it. Drag the key across the track to release the funds.

The flow

Four steps. Zero excuses.

A challenge becomes official the moment money is locked, not the moment it ends. That changes everything.

i.
Set the terms

A challenge, a stake, and a friend. Open-ended like a Venmo memo — anything skill-based goes.

ii.
Lock the funds

Both sides commit through licensed payment rails. Funds are locked on the platform until consensus. Nobody touches them, including us.

iii.
Settle by Consensus Key

Both parties confirm the winner. Disagree, and the funds stay locked until you sort it out. No third-party referee.

iv.
Funds release. Instantly.

No request, no chase, no "I'll send it tonight." It's already in the winner's account.

Beyond 1-on-1

Group pots, bigger stakes.

Up to 16 friends. One pot. Built for fantasy leagues, poker nights, and everything in between.

i.
Set the field

Add up to 16 friends. Each locks their share upfront. Nobody plays until everyone's in.

ii.
Pick the payout

Winner takes all, top three split, custom percentages. You decide at the start — not after the fact.

iii.
Leader's Call

Group leader names the winner. Anyone in the pot can dispute before payout. Funds release only when the dust settles.

Honest answers

Will it hold up?

The questions everyone asks before they download. Answered straight.

Funds stay locked until both of you press the Consensus Key. If a challenge expires unresolved, both stakes are returned to their original owners. Nobody can take your money without your confirmation — including us.
Stakes are held by licensed third-party payment processors — not by us. We're moving toward a fully non-custodial smart contract architecture, which means even we can't access your funds. Your money is yours. Period.
Anything skill-based. Pickleball, fantasy lineups, poker hands, who can hold a wall sit longer, who can beat a video game level first, who knows the song. If it's a contest of skill between friends, it belongs on OhBet.
Venmo works fine — until someone loses and "forgets." OhBet locks the money before the challenge starts. No request to send. No reminder to ignore. No friendship strained over fifty bucks. The Consensus Key removes the awkward part.
No. OhBet is a skill-based peer-to-peer challenge platform. Users define and compete in challenges of skill — not games of chance, not fixed-odds wagers, not third-party event betting. The platform's prohibited content rules (Section 8 of our Terms) explicitly exclude any contest where outcome is determined materially by chance.
